Cancellation Policy

1. Participant Requirements a. Confidence: Participants must be confident around donkeys and comfortable handling them. Prior experience with equines is beneficial but not mandatory. b. Physical Fitness: A moderate level of fitness is required, as the course involves walking, grooming, and potentially lifting light equipment. c. Age Restriction: Participants must be at least 18 years old. d. Health: Participants should be in good health and must inform us of any relevant medical conditions or allergies. 2. Course Schedule a. Duration: The course takes place over two consecutive days. b. Day 1 (Saturday): Start time will be communicated upon booking. c. Day 2 (Sunday): Early start at 6:00 AM sharp. Please ensure you can commit to this early start time. 3. Provided Amenities a. Meals: Lunch and tea will be provided on both days of the course. b. Equipment: All necessary grooming tools and safety equipment will be provided. 4. Dress Code and Personal Items a. Attire: Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. b. Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Steel-toe boots are recommended but not required. c. Personal Items: Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and any personal medications you might need. 5. Safety and Conduct a. Instructions: Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the course leaders at all times. b. Behavior: Respectful behavior towards the donkeys, other participants, and staff is required at all times. c. Substance Policy: No alcohol or illegal substances are permitted during the course. 6. London Parade Participation a. Eligibility: Participation in the London parade is contingent upon demonstrating adequate skills in donkey handling during the course. b. Safety: The course leader's decision regarding parade participation is final and based on safety considerations for all involved.
